Wheel Stud Conversion Kit — BMW E9X / E8X

Replace the factory BMW wheel bolts with a proper stud-and-nut setup designed for easier wheel changes and repeated Street + Track use.

With the studs permanently locating the wheel on the hub, there is no need to support and balance the wheel while trying to align and start factory wheel bolts. This makes wheel changes faster and more convenient — particularly for cars that regularly swap between street and track wheels, tyres or spacer setups.

Why convert to wheel studs?

• 75mm stud length — provides additional usable length for performance wheel setups and compatible spacer combinations.
• Open-ended wheel nuts — allow stud protrusion and make thread engagement visible.
• Internal Allen drive — allows straightforward installation of the studs into the hub.

• Grade 10.9 steel
• Black phosphate coating for a durable, uniform finish with added corrosion protection
• M12 × 1.5 thread
• 75mm overall stud length

• 20 × Grade 10.9 black phosphate wheel studs
• 20 × open-ended M12 × 1.5 wheel nuts
• Wheel nut finish: Black or Chrome
• 19mm wheel nut hex

Fitment

Designed for compatible BMW E8X and E9X applications using M12 × 1.5 wheel hardware. Wheel, spacer and stud protrusion should always be checked for adequate thread engagement and clearance before use.
